This session will present a model of health economic outcomes and costs associated with early powered mobility technologies (PMT). The health economic model will be supplemented by in- depth discussion of the impact of PMT on the quality of life of the child and family using case studies. Learning Objectives: 1. Discuss two main outcomes from the adoption of an early powered mobility device 2. Compare all measurable costs and benefits of using an early powered mobility intervention using health economic modelling 3. Discuss three main implications of valuing early powered mobility according to health economic outcomes 4. Outline three considerations that families may face when deciding on early powered mobility
