This session will educate participants on the influence of falls on the lives of power wheelchair users and circumstances surrounding falls. In addition, presenters will discuss a checklist of fall prevention strategies that should be discussed with power wheelchair users at the time of wheelchair deliveries or during therapy sessions/clinic visits. Learning Objectives: 1. Summarize common circumstances surrounding falls experienced by Power Wheelchair Users 2. Discuss the multifactorial nature of falls 3. Describe important fall prevention strategies to discuss with their clients at a wheelchair delivery or during therapy sessions/clinic visits
