Choosing the right stander can be a challenge. This course will use new research and case stories to model how standers can be chosen so that the needs of the client are met. Components such as ease of loading, adjustment, growth, abduction, contracture brackets, shear, etc. will be addressed. Learning Objectives: 1. List three models of standers that abduct 2. Assess how much growth capacity a stander has in supine, prone and/or upright position 3. Select a stander that compliments their clients’ needs
