This session will run through a comparison of commercial home automation systems and a comparison of these systems to traditional ECU’s. Additionally, the session will focus on how to conduct a risk analysis in order to determine if the system being recommended is the best available for each client. Learning Objectives: 1. Name two features non-dedicated home automation technology cannot do that traditional ECU’s can 2. Conduct a risk assessment for new technology in order to determine the best-fit system for their clients 3. Determine the best home automation system for a client through a case study
