The mat assessment is key to making effective equipment prescription. Once an assessment is done, how do we translate this into understanding the client’s needs for prescription? In this session, an algorithm that guides clinical reasoning from the supine assessment to the sitting simulation using case studies will be described. Learning Objectives: 1. Identify issues translating the information from the supine assessment to the sitting simulation 2. Describe a clinical reasoning process using a newly developed algorithm that has been designed to guide a clinician through the mat assessment, specifically from the supine assessment to the sitting simulation 3. Review clinical case studies using this clinical reasoning process
